Reception Trip to
Bocketts Farm

Bockett's Farm is a charming family-run farm nestled in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Did you know that Bocketts Farm Park is a working family farm?
Being one of the most popular all-weather attractions in the South East, combining both animal and play areas both inside and out! Exploring the farm means meeting all the friendly animals along the way, such as the greedy goats, cheeky llamas and cute rabbits! As it’s a working farm there are also lots of baby lambs, piglets, chicks and calves throughout the year.

Five little ducks went swimming one day.
Over the hills and far away.
Mother Duck Said Quack Quack Quack Quack!
But only four little ducks came back!

Today our two Reception classes (St Patrick and St Gabriel) had a wonderful day trip to Bockett's Farm. Their Topic this Term has been, Farm and Wild Animals, so it was very fitting to have a trip to see some real animals in their own environment. The children were very excited to learn all about the different types of animals that live on the farm and how they are taken care of. All the children had a chance to see the animals as well as play and generally having fun together with a picnic!
