Year 5 Earthquakes and Volcanoes 2025

  

 

 

 

Well the day has finally come to complete the volcano experiment!  All the children eagerly awaited their turn to set off their volcanoes.  Both classes - St Rose and St Catherine - proudly erupted their volcanoes!  Wow, there were some beauties!!!!

   

Sleep gentle volcano, do not wake;
dream of things volcanoes dream about
like firebirds beside a lava lake
or, swimming through the lake, fire finned trout.

Dream of a glowing cinder wonderland
where you eat boiling bowls of magma stew
beside a lava sea on hot ash sand;
hush and your red hot dreams may all come true.

 

 

 

Well done to both Year 5 classes, St Angela's and St Catherine's on their magnificent model Volcanoes, it was an explosive end of the Topic!!!!!
